By accessing or using AdoKo.my, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Nature of Service

AdoKo.my is a digital notice board and directory service. We provide a platform for users to display advertisements for local neighborhood stalls, services, and goods.

• Not a Marketplace: AdoKo.my does NOT facilitate payments, handle delivery, or act as a party to any transaction between a viewer and an advertiser.
• Passive Conduit: We act as a passive host for user-generated content and do not curate or verify the listings before they are posted.

3. No Verification & "As-Is" Disclaimer

AdoKo.my operates on an "as-is" basis.

• No Verification: We do not verify the identity of advertisers, their business registration status (e.g., SSM), or the quality, safety, and legality of the items advertised.
• User Risk: You interact with advertisers and conduct transactions at your own risk. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding any goods or services discovered through the Platform.

4. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Content

• Accuracy: Advertisers are solely responsible for the information they post.
• Legality: All listings must comply with Malaysian Law. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: unlicensed medicine, pirated/counterfeit goods, weapons, tobacco/e-cigarettes, adult content, and items prohibited under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
• Safe Conduct: Users agree to follow the Community Safety Guidelines during physical meetups.

5. Metadata & Data Usage

• Analytics Rights: By using the Platform, you acknowledge that AdoKo.my collects metadata (including GPS, search terms, and device info).
• Usage: AdoKo.my owns the aggregated, anonymized insights derived from this data for marketing, internal analytics, and potential external sharing with partners.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdoKo.my and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Financial loss or scams resulting from transactions.
• Disputes between buyers and sellers.
• Any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
