1. Cash on Delivery (COD) Only

Always use Cash on Delivery.

Never pay or transfer money upfront to someone you haven't met.
If a seller asks for a "deposit" or "booking fee" via bank transfer before meeting, it is likely a scam.

2. Meet in Public Places

Always meet in well-lit, public areas with other people around. Suggested locations:

Petrol stations (e.g., PETRONAS, Shell)
Near mosques or community centers
Food courts or malls
Tell a friend or family member where you are going.

3. Verify Before Paying

Check the product thoroughly before making payment.

For food: Ensure packaging is intact.
For goods: Test the item if possible.
Once you pay and leave, AdoKo.my cannot assist in disputes.

4. Report Suspicious Activity

If an advertisement looks "too good to be true" or a seller acts suspiciously:

Use the "Report" button on the stall page.
Block the user on WhatsApp.
Report fraudulent activity to the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) by calling 997.
